The Fiber Series without upholstery is EU Ecolabel Certified. By carrying the EU Ecolabel Certification, the product is guaranteed to have a reduced environmental impact throughout the total lifecycle of the product from raw material to disposal. Please note that Fiber Stool, Bar and Counter Stool as well as the Lounge Chair with recycled plastic will be available in North America in 2023. Therefore, the North American versions without upholstery are not EU Ecolabel Certified.

Product Material
Shell - Fiber Stool without upholstery:
The plastic of the shell is made using minimum 80% recycled plastic. The plastic is mixed with up to 25% FSC™️ (FSC-C028824) certified wood fibers. The shell is made of plastic that is climate compensated.
For North America: Shell in plastic composition with up to 25% wood fibers.

Base:
Tube base in powder coated steel.
For Stained Dark Brown version only: Please note that slight color variations can occur due to the inherent characteristics of the material.

Powder Coated Steel
Steel is an alloy of iron with carbon. Powder coated steel has a subtle, textured expression and elegant feel while adding durability to the design and making it more resistant to corrosion. Powder coated steel is also highly chip resistant.
Wood and Plastic Composite
An innovative composite of wood and plastic fibers, specially developed for the Fiber Chair series. Up to 25 % of composite consists of wood fibers, which gives the shell a uniquely deep surface and soft, matte touch. Though invisible to the eye when viewed from afar, the natural details of the wood fibers are revealed when viewing the design up-close. Note that slight variations in the surface may occur due to the inherent characteristics of the material.

Clean the shell with a moist cloth. If necessary use a little dish soap on the cloth. For upholstery versions, please find cleaning instructions for your chosen textile at kvadrat.dk, nevotex.com or for leather at ca-mo.com. For leather upholstery versions: Clean the leather with a dry cloth regularly. Treat the leather at least four times a year using only special leather treatment products.

The Fiber family
The Fiber Chair Family brings a new perspective on the iconic shell chair through its shell in an innovative composite of plastic and wood fibers for a uniquely deep surface and soft, matte touch. Though invisible to the eye from afar, the details of the wood fibers are revealed when viewing the design up-close.
The shell of the Fiber Armchair & Side Chair without upholstery consists of recycled plastic - of which a minimum of 80% is recycled – mixed with FSC™-certified wood fibers. Please note that Fiber Chair variants with recycled plastic will be available in North America by fall 2022
The Fiber Chair Family is designed in a simple and sculptural form language for a chair that is slender on the outside—taking up little space in the room—while having a spacious inner, created for maximum comfort.
