Muuto Project Case
Located in the emerging area of Refshaleøen in southern Copenhagen, CopenHill is a 41,000m2 waste-to-energy plant, built by Danish architecture group BIG, that features an artificial ski slope and recreational hiking area and an embodiment of the notion of hedonistic sustainability.
Visitors reaching the summit of CopenHill can enjoy the rooftop bar while exploring the highest viewing plateau in Copenhagen. The rooftop bar has been designed as an informal space, using Muuto’s Linear Steel Series in custom-made galvanized steel as key seating designs throughout.

"With a minimalistic and characteristic exterior design, we worked closely with BIG Architects on finding suitable interior designs for the rooftop bar due to flame retardancy demands and strict rules for the materials being used."
With its sturdy and robust design, the Linear Steel Series in galvanized steel fits the exterior of the rooftop bar perfectly and can be kept outside all year round.Christian Ingels CEO OF CopenHill
