    John Tree's designs are recognized for their simple ingenuity. Focusing on a few materials in one construction reveals something about how it is made. They are easy to understand and use, intuitivley enjoyable objects. He extended this principle to the extendable table, paring it back to its essence, wood.

    On Earnest Extendable Table John Tree "Solid wood gives it a continuation. It feels like a story that isn't finished. As you add the extension, inviting more people to the table, the story carries on."
    John Tree "A table tends to be the heart of any space. The middle of the house, but also the family or a company of people. It is the epicenter, physically and emotionally. Today we use the table for much more than meals. The functionality has become different, and it is interesting to see how well the table has responded to that."
    • Dining setting featuring the Earnest Extendable Table in oak, Fiber Soft Chairs Tube Base in Hearth 8 grey, and Raise Carafe and Glasses in clear, burnt orange, and dark blue.
