    FIBER CHAIR

    RECYCLED
    PLASTIC

The Fiber Chair Family, designed by Iskos-Berlin was born from a wish to make a forward-thinking take on the archetypal shell chair. This was achieved by creating an innovative shell of plastic and wood fibers that makes for a soft inviting touch with a matte and tactile surface.

The new generation of Fiber Chairs is designed with a conscious perspective in mind and a wish to improve our environmental impact.

Please note that Fiber Chair variants with recycled plastic will be available in North America by fall 2022

Each Fiber Armchair contains 2,6 kg recycled plastic

GIVING NEW LIFE TO PLASTIC WASTE

The recycled plastic used in the Fiber Armchair & Side Chair is sourced from post-industrial waste from the manufacturing of eyewear.

In 2022 we expect to substitute more than 50 tons of virgin plastic with recycled plastic.

We choose FSC™️-certified wood fibers from sustainable forestry in our production of the Fiber Chair.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC™️) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to promoting environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world’s forests.

As part of our sustainable initiatives, we wish to increase our use of recycled materials in order to reduce waste and our consumption of natural resources.
