    Muuto Leather

    Allure Leather
At first glance, it’s clear that Allure is a truly high-end Aniline leather. The sanded surface gives it that silky, smooth nubuck feel that exudes exclusivity. Adding a tactile dimension with its subtle texture and a velvety touch. Allure comes in 11 colours all with a discrete natural grain that is unique to each hide.

Allure has a matt surface. Over time, the leather will become smoother, shinier and the colours will become lighter. It’s all part of the beauty of living with real leather. That you leave your own personal mark on it.

    Grace Leather
Grace is an exclusive Aniline leather with a natural, rustic look and a sublime, almost velvety tactile feel. Achieved via a process of sanding and applying a special type of leather oil to the surface. At the same time Grace boasts a matt look that’s raw with a touch of understated elegance.

Part of the leathers extra appeal are the natural markings which brings a unique personality to each hide.

Watch for a beautiful patina that will appear over time as a result of the leather’s usage, exposure to daylight and interior lighting. With use, the leather will become more shiny and smooth.

    Refine Leather
If you are looking for softness and natural patina, Refine Leather is a good choice. As an aniline leather, it will darken and build character with time, however, as the leather is dyed, the color will not change dramatically. Aniline leather is the purest, most natural leather with only around 15% of all leathers in the world being compliant with the requirements for being classified as aniline leather. The leather shows the natural features that are inherently found in animal hides and slight variations can occur. Made from European raw hides, Refine Leather is dyed-through, chrome tanned, and produced without the use of PCP and CFC which can be damaging to the environment.

    Maintenance & Care

Please bear in mind that natural leather does not perform well in dry air and direct sunlight. As a precautionary measure, we recommend placing leather upholstered furniture away from direct sunlight and refrain from having it in highly air-conditioned rooms as this can make the leather fade or dry out.

Regular care of the leather helps maintain its inherent qualities and prolong the lifespan of the surface. Clean the leather with a dry cloth or soft brush. Treat and moisturize the leather at least twice a year using only special leather treatment products.
